Bullocks Whiskey saw a problem, there weren’t any diverse faces in the world of whiskey. We have a host of old white men to look towards for whiskey expertise, but stories of the POC behind the bar were severely lacking. Bullocks whiskey is inspired by the true story of famed bartender Tom Bullock, write of ‘The Ideal Bartender’ and known throughout the South for his work at The Pendents Club in Louisville as well as the St. Louis Country Club. Bullock was known for his swagger and his style, so instead of locking his persona up in a small black and white image we brought his style to the forefront, creating our ideal image of the man behind the brand.
